What’s New in the My Walden Email Address Portal
If you’re looking for an exceptional way to access a world-class education, consider utilizing a student portal provided by the world-renowned Walden University. The portal has been established to allow students to take classes from the comfort of their homes or office. With the easy and convenient interface provided by the student portals, it is now possible to take classes and complete projects without leaving your desk.
To log into the student portal, follow the following steps:
- Navigate to your profile.
- Enter your student id.
- Enter your password.
- Click Log in to enter your Walden account.
- Look at the upper left corner of the screen, and you will see a red “*” symbol.
This is the save icon and is used to save your changes.
*The “My Walden” section provides a space for adding Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter accounts. The “College Portals” link located on the upper right corner of the student portal provides a space for editing your profile, connecting with classmates, or inviting friends to your page. The “My Page” link located in the upper left corner of the student portal provides you with a space to upload pictures and videos. *A new feature added to the student portal is the “Your Page” link found at the top left corner of the page. Here, you can upload a photo or video, update your status, or invite others to your page. A “My Page” link is also available at the top right corner of the home page.
*A “My Account” link is now available in the upper right corner of the portal. You may access your account anytime by clicking on this link. *The “Contact Us” link located on the upper left corner of the portal has been replaced with a phone number and an email address. *The “Volunteer” link is now available along with your username and an optional email address. *You can now manage your volunteer profile, your education, and your career achievements more easily using the advanced features of the Walden student portal login.
*The password protection section of the student portal has been restructured. *You no longer need to have a password to access the student portal. *A “useful” link has been added to the top of every page. *You no longer have to fill in your email address, or telephone number, while registering. * Messages from other users of the forum are now allowed. *The “Help” button is no longer available since it still links to the main menu.
*The Course-Based Program section of the portal now contains the latest course offerings as listed by the entire faculty directory. *A search box option is now available for searching all course offerings by type. *The student forum has been reformed to offer better assistance to the registered students.
*You can now view your educational profile by clicking on the icon found in the upper right corner of your desktop screen. *The portal now displays the current timetable. *You can now sign in using your Facebook or Twitter accounts. *You can view your academic profile, including school and country details. *The portal now enables students to share files such as pictures and documents with others in their peer group. *You can now create and join groups that interest you and other registered members of the system.
To conclude, the changes in the Walden student portal represent an exciting step forward in terms of its development. I am very pleased that all the technical issues have been sorted out in an orderly fashion. I am particularly happy about introducing the faculty chat feature, which allows me to connect with colleagues in different colleges and talk to them about my courses, work, personal life, etc. This new feature builds upon the positive momentum witnessed over the last year when more improvements and enhancements were introduced to provide a user-friendly, safe, and easy-to-use interface for new users and for those who want to make improvements in their education experience.
